Manche entfernen die Kapsel (z.B. https://journals.lww.com/jaaos/abstract/2014/09000/direct_anterior_approach_for_total_hip.7.aspx) andere belassen die Kapsel in situ (z.B. https://journals.lww.com/clinorthop/Fulltext/2005/12000/Single_incision_Anterior_Approach_for_Total_Hip.20.aspx ).
